BREEDING     TRAINING     COACHING

BreakO'day Quarterhorses was established to breed, train and coach western performance horses and riders.
Located in Glenburn, Victoria, which rests on the Melba Highway halfway between Yarra Glen and Yea, the property
enjoys panoramic views of green pastures, horses and cattle.

The purpose built facilities include an outdoor all weather surface, 20m x 200m reining slide track, foaling down box,
stables,  day yards, shared and private paddocks, feed shed, tack shed, wash bay and crush.

After successful state and national level campaigning as a non-pro, resident trainer Kate Thompson turned professional
in 1998. With many horses and riders to her training and coaching credit, Kate continues to show yearlings, two year olds
and junior horses in western performance events.

As an accredited Level 1 NCAS Coach, alongside 8 solid years of coaching, Kate reflects an approachable and professional
manner. With a large client base in the Yarra Valley and Goulbourn Valley regions, BreakO'day Quarterhorses actively
 supports Yarra Valley Quarter Horse Association, Plenty Valley Quarter Horse Association, Big Valley Quarter Horse
Association
in addition to major state and national shows including Australian Halter Showcase, Quarter Horse Congress and the
Victorian Reining Horse Association Derby Show and National Reining Horse Association Futurity Show.
