Following clinc is a weekend camp, maximum of six riders, to be held at Breakoday Quarterhorses. Clinic starts 10am Saturday and finishes 4pm Sunday. Accomodation and meals provided. Bedding, cutlery bags, horse feed required. Weekend will have four training sessions, each focusing on a different western event.

EQUINE INFLUENZA HAS LIMITED OUR CAPACITY TO SUCCESSFULLY ORGANISE A CAMP FOR 2008. QUARTER KIDS CAMP WILL RESUME IN 2009 WITH A FULL TWELVE MONTHS ORGANISATION IN THE MAKING. WE WILL BE LOOKING INTO RUNNING A TASMAINIAN, VICTORIAN AND QUEENSLAND CAMP EACH YEAR. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE WELCOMED FROM BOTH KIDS WISHING TO ATTEND, COACHES AND EVENT ORGANISERS.

The camp comprises youth coaching in western performance with a focus on safety and enjoyment. A reserve list will be held once all bookings are taken and those children on the reserve list will be offered the first places in September 2010 if they are not successful in obtaining a position in 2009. A number of Non-riding positions are also offered for children who wish to fencesit the coaching and participate in the seminars and activities.

Children booked for the camp will receive an information pack two weeks prior to camp outlining the camp programme and requirements. In the meanwhile, we will be working hard to raise funds to offer the children the best coaching , seminars and activities possible. If you would like to contribute to fundraising efforts with time or ideas, please contact us. Previously we were well supported by Horseland Lilydale, Mauro Bros Butchers, G & P Bentley Poultry Carriers, Tracie Sullivan Photography amongst many other companies of which can be viewed on the contacts and links page. We are grateful for their contribution to the development of youth in our industry.

Already we have secured some great coaches. Following the successful format of previous years, each day will have three coaching sessions, followed by an evening seminar and activities. Final day of camp is the quarter kids show and presentations. We look forward to another exciting and exhausting Quarter Kids Camp!
